WRPF Showdown Details | Nottingham Strong Open

Entries will be going live for the WRPF UK Showdown coming this December on April 7th at 10am

This is a platform where you can not only fight it out to place top and earn yourself an invitation to the WRPF Pro in 2025 but also qualify for all A/BPU national events within 2025 so long as you hold an A/BPU membership in addition to your WRPF membership.

We’re expecting this competition to be an absolute blast and as with all previous competitions we’ve ran, we’ll be aiming to up the game once again with this one.

Come down, across or up the country, compete to your absolute upmost and then stick around for the WRPF Pro event on the following day.

This event will have all the extra bells and whistles that the Pro event will carry minus the invitation to compete. Again, this event is Open registration meaning anyone can enter.

Our main goal with running competitions is to give lifters, of all capabilities the chance to compete on a platform they deserve without anything detracting from their performance.

With that in mind this competition will have access to all the following.

Livestream – Full Livestream throughout the competition with multiple camera angles covering every moment of your lift.

Warm up room – All warmup equipment and platform equipment is quite literally the best you can have access to, ranging from Rogue, Cerberus and Strengthshop calibrated plates, Rogue Ohio Power Bars, Texas & rogue deadlift bars and AOA/Cerberus squat bars.

Food on demand – With Nottingham Strong providing all the usual bakery and sweets behind the till, we always have a food van on-site whether that is Pizza, Curry or street food. You’ll not be disappointed.

Time schedules well in advance of the event. All relevant information posted across social media and via email to the competitors, so you always know what to expect.
